Divya Darshana

On 22-2-1992, one of the devotees had given to the Abhisheka seva which was a Friday. At the tiem of abhishekam , when the Lord’s idol was given a holy bath in milk , ghee , honey , curd & sugar. The devotees saw that idol had kumkum on its fore head and nose bit in the nose which made Lord Srinivasa’s idol look like Sri Mahalakshmi Amma . This is one of the memorabteesle moments of the devotees. This was seen on the Magha Maasa , Krishna paksha dashami thithi on Friday.

Kallahalli Sri Srinivasa Temple is a single idol temple but on this day the devotees experienced the presence of Sri Mahalakshmi Amma.

In Tirumala temple of Tirupati near Kanaka maya kantika Sri Ramanujacharya had provided an opportunity for the devotees to have darshan of Sri Mahalakshmi , but in Kallahalli Lord Sri Srinivasa himself came in the form Sri Mahalakshmi and gave darshan to his devotees. This is the only idol which shows the two avatars that is Sri Srinivasa and Sri Mahalakshmi in the same idol.

All these miracles and the beauty of the place makes one to visit again and again & seek the blessings of the Lord.
